Mrs. Carpenter is a native Oregonian, born in Eugene and raised in Salem, Oregon. She graduated from McKay High School and has remained in the Salem community with her husband and three children. Over the span of her 20+ year career in hospitality and nonprofit management, she has served as Executive Director for the Oregon Speech-Language and Hearing Association, the Oregon Manufactured Housing Association, and Director of Operations for many associations including Oregon Fire District Directors Association, Marion County Farm Bureau, and Oregon Volunteer Firefighters Association. She is currently a board member for the Recovery Outreach Community Center (ROCC), a volunteer treasurer for Boy Scout Troop 20, and former board member of Travel Salem. Mrs. Carpenter operates Meetings, Management, and More, an Association Management business and began supporting Willamette Master Chorus as the Administrator in January 2019.
